Internet of Good Things Web App Redesign and Development
Product Manager
There are over 30 million users of IOGT in 63 countries worldwide. Today, nearly 6 million children under 5 years old die every year from preventable illness. These illnesses can be avoided if parents and caregivers are more informed about things such as breastfeeding, hand-washing with soap, safe sanitation, and HIV and AIDS prevention. Millions of people still lack access to quality, credible information, which is what Internet of Good Things hopes to provide. In some instances, this information can save lives and improve healthcare and the economy.

U-Report App Design and Development
User Experience and User Interface Designer
There are 11.5 million U-Reporters in 69 countries worldwide. The purpose of U-Report is to connect data from conversations with U-Reporters from low and middle income countries to global policymakers on emergency relief and health policy. This chatbot app gives children a voice to speak up about issues important to them. These opinions are then communicated to government officials to create long-lasting, positive change.

Library Website Redesign
User Experience and User Interface Designer
This was my first experience with user experience research and usability testing. Since 2015, I had designed my own websites and blogs, but I had never learned the science behind user interface design. In 2018, I interviewed and was accepted as a Cleveland Clinic Website Usability Intern through the Cleveland Clinic Education Institute. My mentor, Laura Greenwald, opened my eyes to this intriguing knowledge that I now use to design apps and websites for various nonprofits. I learned so much in one summer, and I realized how much I truly love understanding people through data analysis and designing with the user in mind.

Water, Sanitation, and Health Facility App Design and Development
User Experience and User Interface Designer
The purpose of WASH FIT is to improve the quality of care in the health facilities of low and middle income countries through sanitation and hygiene developments for infection prevention. WASH FIT describes the water, sanitation, and hygiene for health facility improvement tool. By using the app, health facility workers can document improvements or necessary changes within their own facilities. This information is passed along to governmental agencies, so that government officials know how many quality services each facility is able to offer to the people.
